We meet once a year to make plans for the coming months and get some inspiration for future screenprints and artworks. This year we decided to visit the MUCA (Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art) and the "New Clear Power" exhibition by Shepard Fairey at the Amuseum in Munich - and guess what, it was amazing!

25 Hours Party People

Our trip started with a 1 hour delay of Deutsche Bahn (what else would you expect), but things looked way brighter when we checked into the 25 Hours Hotel „The Royal Bavarian“ . The Hotel is basically an Instagram-Photoset, full of little details and gimmicks to explore. A good start to draw some visual inspiration.

Shepard Fairey – New Clear Power

Our next stop was the new Amuseum of Contemporary Art, that shows Shepard Fairey's "New Clear Power" exhibition until the end of April. While the museum is really more like a 1 Room Gallery, the exhibition is definitely worth a visit. Rather than screenprinted serigraphies, the exibition focuses on Shepard Fairey'shand pained originals made of stencils, spraycans and other media.

MUCA – Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art

After a wild night at the Glockenbachviertel and an unplanned but pleasant meeting with gigposter-colleague Simon Marchner at the Holy Home Bar, we had a healthy Weißwurst and Shashuka Breakfast at the Neni Restaurant which is conveniently located in the 25 Hours Hotel.

After that we visited the MUCA, to see the "25 years anniversary-exhibition". 3 floors or impressive artworks by Banksy, Keith Haring, KAWS and also Shepard Fairey, to name a few. Definitely worth a visit as well.
